New Academic Building Unveiled at New England College

Groundbreaking for the John Lyons Center was held during NEC's commencement weekend celebration.

Groundbreaking for the John Lyons Center, a new academic building at New England College, was held as part of NEC’s commencement weekend celebration, according to a press statement.

The John Lyons Center will include approximately 20,000 SF of academic, meeting, and faculty space. Built to LEED standards, the building will feature a two-story learning commons and café, surrounded by classrooms, seminar rooms, group study spaces, and offices.

The construction team includes DSK Architects + Planners, RFS Engineering, and Harvey Construction. Expected opening is Fall 2016.
