New England Attorneys Create New NH Firm
Terri Pastori of Derry and Heather Krans of Exeter form Pastori Krans in Concord. Petar Leonard will also work at the new firm.

CONCORD, NH — Terri L. Pastori and Heather E. Krans have joined together to form Pastori Krans, PLLC, a new law firm that is focusing on litigation, including employment law, family law, and business disputes. The two partners are seasoned and effective advocates for their clients and bring nearly 40 years of combined litigation experience to the new practice, which is based in Concord. They both have substantial experience working at leading, large law firms prior to starting Pastori Krans, according to a press statement. They will be joined by Petar Leonard, who is an associate in the new firm and has focused on the myriad of issues that can arise in family cases.
“We are very excited to launch Pastori Krans and bring together our strengths and services in and out of the courtroom," the partners said in a joint statement. "With our deep experience as trial attorneys, we focus on solving the problem at hand and collaborate with clients and their other advisers to resolve their legal challenges. While we pursue each case as if it may ultimately go to trial, we are skilled negotiators and where advisable, we make use of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution options to resolve disputes in an agreeable fashion to avoid the risks and expenses associated with trial."
Pastori’s employment practice involves counseling and representing employees and employers in the full spectrum of employment matters in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. After 15 years of working at leading large firms in Boston and Manchester. She started her own firm in Derry. She earned her B.S. from UMass Lowell magna cum laude, and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School summa cum laude, graduating first in her class. She is an award-winning lawyer who is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and is a frequent presenter and contributor on employment law topics in both states. Locally, she serves as the chairperson of the Derry Economic Development Advisory Committee.

Krans is a resident of Exeter, and practices primarily in family law where she represents clients in such matters as divorce and parenting actions, prenuptial agreements, child support, custody, and alimony. She has substantial experience representing clients in high asset and divorce cases. As a result of her accomplishments, she was admitted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Vermont and her J.D., with distinction, from Emory University School of Law. She has received many honors and awards for her work over nearly 20 years and is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Leonard is a resident of Concord. He has focused his practice in family law and uses a number of settlement techniques to resolve issues efficiently and expeditiously, including mediation and collaborative law. He has experience working in both the large law firm and boutique firm settings, providing him with a unique perspective on the practice of law. He earned his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Oregon and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he graduated in the top 15 percent of his class. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of family law to the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program and the UNH School of Law.
