New Hampshire Department Of Corrections Fugitive Arrested In Manchester

CONCORD, NH — Probation officials found another fugitive of the week recently, according to the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.

Joshua Joseph Vazquez, 33, was featured in late November after being accused of absconding from supervision in October.

On Thursday, a probation parole officer arrested Vazquez with the help of Manchester police and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. While surveilling a home, law enforcement saw a man matching his description. As Vazquez exited the Manchester home, he was arrested.

“Vazquez is currently being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections where he awaits a bail hearing,” an update stated.

According to court records, it was the second time Vazquez was accused of violating probation. He also pleaded guilty to violating probation or parole in January 2023 and served four days in jail. Vazquez’s criminal history included assault, criminal threatening, and the probation violation, officials said.
