New Hampshire Woman Dies After SUV Crash On Interstate 93
Barbara Riff of Berlin crashed her Toyota RAV4 into trees in Sanbornton on Sunday. State police are asking for witnesses to come forward.

CONCORD, NH — An elderly woman died after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 on Sunday, according to New Hampshire State Police.
At just before noon, troopers from Troop D in Concord were sent to a report of an SUV off the highway that had crashed into trees. The Toyota RAV4 drove off the roadway to the left and into the median, according to Lt. Chad Lavoie, a state trooper.
"Based upon the initial investigation, the vehicle was traveling southbound in the left lane before drifting off the roadway and into the median," Lavoie said. "The vehicle then collided with a tree with the front end of the vehicle."

The driver, Barbara Riff, 73, of Berlin was pronounced dead at the crash scene. One lane of the Interstate was closed for around two hours.
Currently, all aspects of this crash remain under investigation, Lavoie said, adding that anyone that may have further information related to the crash or who witnessed it is encouraged to contact Trooper Samuel Provenza at 603-223-6162 or email him at Samuel.P.Provenza@dos.nh.gov.
