Loan Officer:
The Loan Officer finds prospective clients, guides them through the loan application process, and gathers information to ensure that an informed loan decision is made.
Major Responsibilities/Activities
Perform all upfront prequalifications, run credit and determine what the best product is for the client by having conversations to qualify client – getting them into the right program.
Assist with Rate Lock and Pricing.
Ensure completeness of application files and compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
Work with processors, underwriters, and borrowers to complete loan applications and collect other documentation as needed.
Respond to phone calls and emails from customers and employees.
Other job duties as required by RMS.

Loan Officer Assistant:
The Loan Officer Assistant supports the Loan Officer with the administrative work of finding prospective clients, guiding clients through the loan application process, and gathering information to ensure that an informed decision is made.
Major Responsibilities/Activities
Perform all upfront prequalifications, run credit and determine what the best product is for the client by having conversations to qualify client – getting them into the right program.
Assist with Rate Lock and Pricing.
Submit files to underwriting sufficiently documented so that underwriting can decision loan.
Pull monthly reports – from ordinated loans to funded loans.
Prepare file to send to processing.
Pull credit and discuss with borrower, tracking conditions – title work, flood insurance, surveys and appraisals.
Submit conditions to Loan Processors.
Collect all insurance binders and subordinate agreements.
Follow up with Loan Processors on final approvals.
Notify Loan Officers via email of status and ready to close.
Review HUD-1, Payoff and settlement charges – communicate approvals as needed from Loan Officers.
Send cancelled and denied files to Loan Center.
Give settlement charges and loans summary to Loan Officers two (2) days prior to closing for review. Schedule closing with attorneys, order closing documents, review and approve HUD.

Assist loan officer by reviewing residential loan application files for completeness and compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
Work with processors, underwriters, and borrowers to complete loan applications and collect other documentation as needed.
Assist loan officer in marketing efforts by tracking referral sources and consumers as well as produce mailers.
Respond to phone calls and emails from borrowers and employees.
Other job duties as requested by RMS.
