According to the Concord Main Street project, the sidewalks that have been removed from Centre Street to the School Street area will all be replaced soon enough. Business on that side of the street are still open.
Beginning Wednesday and continuing through Friday, crews will begin at Centre Street and work their way south, pouring cement and reconstructing sidewalks. Again, businesses will all be open.
On Monday and Tuesday, the remainder of the pavement in the northbound work zone removed, from Northway Bank to Pleasant Street. Paving in this area is planned to take place May 11.
