NH AG Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting In Belmont
NHSP Major Crime Unit was called to investigate a police officer who shot and killed a man during an incident on South Road in Belmont.

CONCORD, NH — State officials are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the town of Belmont, according to a report. At around 11:40 p.m. on June 15, 2019, an officer shot a man on South Road in Belmont. An adult man died during the incident, the statement noted, and no police officers were physically injured.
More information is expected to be issued soon.
This is the second time in two years that the state police's major crimes unit has been called to Belmont for an officer-involved shooting. Joseph Mazzitelli of Belmont was shot by a police officer while trying to grab his gun in September 2017.
