NH AG Seeks 'Person of Interest' In Murder Investigation

Updated: NHSP are asking for the public's help finding Hassan Sapry of Laconia. He's considered dangerous and should not be approached.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and the New Hampshire State Police are asking for the public’s help locating a person of interest in a Lakes Region murder investigation. State troopers are looking for Hassan Sapry, 21, of Laconia, who is a person of interest in the investigation into the death of Wilfred Guzman, also of Laconia. Sapry was last seen in the area of Pleasant Street in Laconia on the afternoon of April 23, 2019.

Sapry was on foot in the area at the time. He is considered to be dangerous and should not be approached.

Guzman was found dead in an apartment on Blueberry Lane in Laconia on Friday afternoon, according to the Laconia Daily Sun. The state’s medical examiner reported that he was killed by blunt and sharp force injury to the head. His death has been ruled a homicide.

Guzman worked at Staples in Tilton, according to the report. His son contacted police when he couldn't get into his father's apartment on Friday, the city's police chief noted in the story.
