NH Auto Dealers Association Gets Job Training Grant
Employees of Concord organization will receive tech, collision repair training at the Community College System of New Hampshire.

About 50 employees in the automotive sector will get a skills upgrade is part of a new effort to keep hundreds of employees in the state trained with the latest skills they need to compete in the 21st century economy.
Gov. Maggie Hassan announced the grant to The NH Auto Dealers Association of Concord as part of more than $106,000 that was given out to eight New Hampshire companies that also agreed to match the grant, bringing the total retraining funds to more than $213,000.
“I am excited to announce this latest round of important grants to help prepare workers for good jobs at New Hampshire’s growing businesses,” Hassan said. “New Hampshire’s Job Training Fund is a valuable resource that has provided essential skills to thousands of workers. In order to support the business community’s efforts to create good jobs and keep New Hampshire’s economy moving forward, we must continue to focus on strengthening our workforce pipeline through job training and higher education.”
