According to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White, at around 8 p.m. last night, investigators received “a credible tip” that Munday was in an apartment in the 200 block section of Main Street in Nashua.
“The US Marshals immediately contacted the Nashua Police Department and requested assistance in locating Munday,” White said in a statement. “Officers quickly responded to the apartment and Munday attempted to flee via the roof. Munday jumped from the roof, seriously injured her leg, and was arrested.”
Investigators credit the Fugitive of the Week feature for producing “several tips leading investigators to multiple addresses in multiple states” according to White.
“These tips did not pan out until the tip from last night, in which the caller recognized Munday and her distinctive Ruby tattoo on her shoulder,” he stated.
U.S. Marshal David Cargill Jr. added, “We are very lucky to have the Fugitive of the Week program, which has allowed us to help locate and arrest numerous fugitives since its inception. This program is successful due to the willingness of the people, the media and the law enforcement working together to help bring these fugitives to justice.”
Munday was transported to a local hospital for treatment and will be held in custody pending her initial court appearance on the outstanding warrants.
