NH Fugitives Arrested in Florida After Robberies
Ryan Cheney, Michelle Gagne were hunting for crabs; Lafoe, two teens arrested in a hotel; allegedly involved in East, Gulf Coast robberies.

PENSACOLA, FL – A Laconia man and four accomplices were arrested on June 17, 2016, after police in two states were able to track them down after they rented a U-Haul van in Concord, according to reports online.
Ryan Cheney, 40, who was wanted for robbery out of Tilton on June 9, and was tracked down in Concord later, was arrested and charged along with Michelle Gagne, 36, Hunter Lafoe, 18, and two other teenagers, according to the Escambia County, FL, Sheriff's Office.

A SWAT team in Escambia County descended on the Magnuson Inn on Route 29 in Pensacola, FL, yesterday afternoon and arrested Lafoe and the two teens – 16 and 17. About three hours later, Cheney and Gagne, his girlfriend, were also arrested.

According to the Pensacola News Journal, Cheney and Gagne were arrested in the Perdido Key area while crabbing.
Sheriffs believe that Cheney was involved in a robbery on June 15, in Bay St. Louis, MS, off I-10, according to the Biloxi Sun Herald. Police allege that he pulled a handgun during the robbery and then took off in a U-Haul Ford Transit 250 van with Arizona plates that had been rented in Concord. New Hampshire released a BOLO (be on the lookout) for Cheney and Lafoe last night but then rescinded the BOLO after finding out that they had both been arrested.
Police allege that Cheney and the others may have been involved in other robberies along the East and Gulf Coasts, according to NorthEscambia.com, during their eight day trek from New Hampshire to Florida. Police credit alerts and posts on social media about the suspects for assisting with the arrests.
