NH Man, Accused Of Child Rape, Wanted On Bail Violations

CONCORD, NH — The District of New Hampshire - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task is searching for a child rape suspect, out on bail, who is accused of bail violations. Russell Shawn Martell Jr. is 38, about 6 feet tall, and weighs around 165 lbs. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

According to the task force, Martell has a tattoo on his upper right arm. A warrant was issued for his arrest out of Rockingham County on Feb. 20.

"Martell is wanted for bail violations on stemming from an original charge of aggravated felonious sexual assault," said Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal. "Martell was last known to reside in Franklin, NH, but his current whereabouts are unknown."

According to Seacoastonline.com, Martell, who lives in Missouri, was indicted earlier this month on three counts of rape against a child under 13 that occurred between 2009 and 2014 in Portsmouth.
