NH Man Arrested For Allegedly Dealing Steroids: Police
Robert Sylvia of Dunbarton was arrested on multiple charges after an investigation by local police, Homeland Security, and the FDA.
DUNBARTON, NH — A local man was arrested yesterday on drug charges after police issued a search warrant against a home in Dunbarton. Robert Sylvia, 51, of Dunbarton, was arrested on Feb. 21, 2018, for possession of anabolic steroids, possession of alprazolam (Xanax), possession of anabolic steroids with the intent to distribute, all felonies, as well as default or breach of bail conditions. Local police and special agents from the Food and Drug Administration and Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant on a home in Dunbarton and allegedly found large quantities of anabolic steroids, drug paraphernalia, and supplements used to enhance or facilitate the use of anabolic steroids, according to a press statement from Sgt. Chris Remillard of the Dunbarton Police Department.

“Police seized in excess of 450 pills as well as a large quantity of liquids, powders, and syringes,” Remillard alleged.

Sylvia – who was arrested last year for theft by unauthorized taking and receiving stolen property and falsifying physical evidence and false reports to law enforcement last month – was held on $5,000 cash bail and was arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court.
