NH Man Charged With Aggravated DWI After His Mustang Crashes Into 2 Motorcycles: Roundup
Farmington driver accused of driving 111 mph; catalytic converter arrest; Mass., NH teens face charges; blotters from around the state.

CONCORD, NH — A man from Milan was arrested last week on aggravated driving while intoxicated after being accused of crashing his Ford Mustang into two motorcyclists.
Around 4 p.m. on Oct. 1, troopers as well as Berlin police and fire and rescue teams from Errol, Milan, and Berlin were sent to Route 16 in Dummer for a crash report. When they arrived, investigators found the car had crashed into two motorcyclists. A third motorcyclist riding with the others was also involved in the crash but not struck by the car.
Three motorcycle riders and a passenger of one of the motorcycles were all injured.

According to the investigation, the Mustang was being driven on the southbound side of the road when it collided with the motorcycles.
The driver of the Mustang, Ronald J. Hamel, unreported age, of Milan was arrested on an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge. He was released on bail and from the hospital after he was treated for injuries.

Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, although aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Man Accused Of Catalytic Converters Theft
State police arrested a man from Newbury on multiple charges after a multi-month investigation.
Lucas Davidson, 24, of Newbury was arrested on Oct. 4 after an investigation that began in July 2021. He was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, criminal mischief, and attempted theft of a catalytic converter on George Hill Road in Springfield. Davidson was arrested at the Sullivan County Jail, where he was being held on unrelated charges.
The arrest was the culmination of multiple interviews, collection and processing of forensic evidence, and information sharing between law enforcement agencies, state police said.

Farmington Man Charged With Reckless Driving
A man from Farmington was arrested by state police on a reckless driving charge.
Around 9 a.m. on Sept. 26, a trooper was on a routine patrol when they observed a 2013 Honda Accord speeding on Route 16 south in Rochester, in the area of Exit 13. The trooper tracked the car at 111 mph, according to a report.
The trooper stopped the car and arrested Shawn Vachon, 42. He was released on personal recognizance and is due in Rochester Circuit Court on Nov. 7.

He was arrested after an incident in Windham.
Alejandro M. Garcia, 27, of Nashua was arrested on a warrant at 11:25 p.m. on Sept. 23 in Nashua.
Anthony Charles Giordano IV, 18, of Billerica, MA, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. on Sept. 23 on driving under the influence, speeding-16 to 20 mph over limit of 55 mph or less, transport alcohol by a minor, and unlawful possession-intoxication charges. Also charged were Christopher Robert Viscione, 18, of North Billerica, MA; Jack Donald Smith, 19, of Billerica, MA; Grace Elizabeth Morrissey, 19, of North Billerica, MA; and Joseph Michael Harty, 18, of Billerica, MA; on two counts of unlawful possession-intoxication charges each.
