NH Man in VW Snagged Going 105 mph: NHSP

HOLDERNESS, NH - New Hampshire State Police troopers continue to arrest alleged reckless drivers on Granite State highways including a Grafton man who was charged last night after reportedly being clocked on I-93 driving 105 mph.

Tyler Murch, 26, of Grafton, was arrested on Feb. 6, 2016, for reckless operation.

According to state police, at around 7:30 p.m., while parked in a crossover on I-93 in Holderness, a trooper noticed a vehicle “traveling southbound at an extremely high rate of speed.” The 2012 Volkswagen Golf was clocked on radar going 105 mph, according to the trooper.

The trooper pulled out onto the highway to perform a motor vehicle stop and it took the trooper about three miles to catch up and stop the vehicle in Ashland, according to the report.

The driver, Murch, was arrested and charged. He was later released and is due in court on March 24.
