CONCORD, NH — A sexual assaulter wanted on a number of warrants was arrested last weekend, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Benjamin Rodriguez, 45, was arrested on Feb. 10, 2018, at a restaurant in Haverhill, MA. The information was passed onto task force members in Massachusetts as well as the Haverhill Police Department and they were able to locate Rodriguez and arrest him. He is being held in the Bay State to clear up his legal matters there before being returned to the Granite State as a fugitive from justice on his warrants here, White noted.
Task force members from Hillsborough, Rockingham, Belknap and Strafford County Sheriff’s Offices, the Federal Protective Service, Haverhill Police, and deputy U.S. Marshals from Massachusetts all worked on the case, White stated.

“Without this group effort, this team would not have had such quick success.” White said, “Thank you to everyone that made the location and arrest of Mr. Rodriguez a top priority. Those efforts are greatly appreciated.”
According to the New Hampshire Department of Safety, Rodriguez was convicted on two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault against a victim under 18 in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North in August 1994. He was also convicted of duty to inform in March 2016.
