• 7-09-13 at 7:43 p.m. Shiv SHRESTHA, age 42 of Nashua, NH was taken into Protective Custody on Route 101 in Raymond due to Intoxication..
• 7-10-13 at 8:40 p.m. Andrew EICK, age 18 of Haverhill, MA was arrested on Interstate 95 in North Hampton and charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug.
• 7-10-13 at 9:15 p.m. Joshua NAPLES, age 24 of South Berwick, ME was arrested on Ashworth Avenue in Hampton and charged with Offense Operating After Suspension.
• 7-10-13 at 7:00 a.m. Enrique Humberto Aguilon LOPEZ, age 26 of Lawrence, MA was arrested on Interstate 95 in Hampton and held on an I.C.E. Detainer Warrant.
• 7-10-13 at 7:00 a.m. Elder ELIAZAR, age 20 of Lawrence, MA was arrested on Interstate 95 in Hampton and held on an I.C.E. Detainer Warrant.
• 7-10-13 at 7:00 a.m. Gustavo Adolfo Perez ORTEGA, age 30 of Methuen, MA was arrested on Interstate 95 in Hampton and held on an I.C.E. Detainer Warrant.
• 7-10-13 at 7:00 a.m. Floridalma Azucena PEREZ, age 32 of Lawrence, MA was arrested on Interstate 95 in Hampton and held on an I.C.E. Detainer Warrant.

Salem Checkpoint

During the hours of 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2013 through 3:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013, in a combined effort, New Hampshire State Troopers from Troop B in Bedford and officers of the Salem Police Department conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Route 28 in Salem.

The checkpoint was authorized by an order of the Rockingham Superior Court and conducted under guidelines promulgated by the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.

A total of one hundred fifty (150) vehicles and operators were screened. Along with numerous warnings,  Troopers and officers issued one summons for Operating Without a License.

Additionally, eight people were arrested:

• Thomas BRISENDINE, age 26, of Salem, NH, Transportation of Controlled Drug
• Matthew DEBRECENI, age 20, of Londonderry, NH, Transportation of Controlled Drug
• Kyle DOWD, age 32, of Lawrence, MA, Possession of Controlled Drug
• Ashley CHURCH, age 22, of Derry, NH, Possession Controlled Drug
• Linda FAGERSTROM, age 64, of Salem, NH, DWI
• Sean OAKES, age 48, of Seabrook, NH, DWI Subsequent Offense and Transportation of Controlled Drug
• John SILVA, age 51, of Salem, NH, DWI Subsequent Offense
• Evelyn SANTIAGO, age 37, of Hyde Park, MA, Aggravated DWI and Disobeying a Police Officer. Of note, Santiago was arrested and charged after she drove through the checkpoint, nearly striking a Trooper. Troopers and Salem PD Officers were able to stop her a short distance from the checkpoint area. and take her into custody.

New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert Quinn and Salem Police Chief Paul Donovan and the officers of their departments consider the detection and apprehension of impaired drivers to be a top priority. They will continue to collaborate and utilize sobriety checkpoints and other means to deter, detect and remove impaired drivers from New Hampshire's roadways.
