PEMBROKE, NH — A local New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet employee was honored this month for keeping a tidy ship and showing high standards when it comes to customer service. Sam Draper was named this year’s “Leadership Impact” employee at the NH Liquor Commission’s awards event on April 9. The annual event highlights liquor companies and wineries, store employees, and community initiatives.

"The employees, business partners, and brands we work with are integral to NHLC's success, and we always look forward to honoring those who helped us exceed our sales goals at our annual event," stated Joseph Mollica, the chairman of the New Hampshire Liquor Commission. "Those who attend our annual Wine, Spirit and Employee Awards ceremony have reached far beyond what is expected to provide exemplary service and exceptional value to each and every customer."

Draper, the commission noted, had very high standards for the Pembroke store – located on Route 106, just over the Concord line – which opened in 2016.

“He observes (employee) performance and provides positive feedback when they are meeting or exceeding the expectations and coaching when opportunities to improve present themselves,” according to the commission. “As a result, the store is consistently neat and tidy, and the team continually impresses the customers that shop at their location in Pembroke.”

Draper also always answers the call for help and sends the best people possible to assist with whatever task needs to be accomplished.
