According to a report, another inmate reported to staff that they opened a window in the minimum security unit and exited the facility last night, according to Jeffrey Lyons, the public information officer for the NH DOC.

Ellinger was serving a three to six year sentence out of Belknap County Superior Court for armed robbery - a Bank of New Hampshire in January 2014. He began serving this sentence on June 18, 2014, and was eligible for parole on Jan. 3, 2017.
