CONCORD, NH — Parking will be banned on several streets as the city of Concord continues its snow removal efforts downtown on Thursday night and Friday morning.

City officials said in an alert that parking will be banned on the following streets between 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, and 7 a.m. Friday: Storrs Street, Hills Avenue, Depot Street, Theatre Street, Fayette Street, Concord Street, and Thompson Street. The streets are marked with emergency no-parking signs.

“Crews worked hard overnight removing snow from downtown,” an alert stated. “About 4,000 tons (189 loads) of snow were removed last night. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to complete all areas. There is a lot of heavy snow out there.”
