CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a vehicle that struck a student exiting a school bust in the West End Tuesday. Police and Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to the intersection of Auburn and Forest streets at 3:45 p.m. for an original report of a crash between a SAU 8 district school bus and a sedan with a possible pedestrian that was injured during the crash. The bus was taking Rundlett Middle School students home from school at the time of the accident.

When police arrived, they discovered that the bus was not involved in the accident. A sedan, however, had struck a student as they were getting off the bus.

According to police, the accident was minor and the student was taken to Concord Hospital with an injury.

The school district brought in another bus to transport the remaining students home, according to police. The reporting officer went to the hospital after the crash scene was cleared to speak with the student and their parents.

The accident was reported at the same intersection of a crash between two vehicles nine days ago.
