OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique to Open For A 6th Day Each Week

More time to shop and help homeless people

CONCORD, NH – Families in Transitions’ OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique, 20 S. Main Street, Concord, NH, will be open on Monday’s, 10AM – 6PM, starting on February 6, 2017. This will add a sixth business day to the store’s operations.

All proceeds from OutFITters Thrift Store Boutique help support the mission of Families in Transition (FIT) in providing a home and hope to homeless families and individuals in New Hampshire. Depending on the sales each day, proceeds go towards covering the cost of things such as diapers and wipes, social service support, and housing for the individuals living with Families in Transition.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to bring in additional funding for the participants of Families in Transition,” said OutFITters Retail Manager, Matt Teichman. “Our stores have been a great way of getting the community involved in helping to bring housing and hope to homeless families and individuals in the area. Shoppers are always amazed at the volume and quality of items that we have at our boutique.”

OutFITters Thrifts Stores in both Concord and Manchester, NH, accept donations of new or gently used clothing, housewares, books, and furniture. Large furniture donation pick-ups can be scheduled in the greater Concord and Manchester areas by calling (603) 641-6691.

OutFITters Thrift Stores are owned and operated by Families in Transition (FIT), a nonprofit organization that provides safe, affordable housing and social services to individuals and families who are homeless, enabling them to gain self-sufficiency and respect.
