Pair Arrested After Foot Pursuit on I-93

NHSP arrest Brandon Holler of Pembroke on warrants, resisting; Kaileah Tolken of Concord was allegedly texting him, hindering apprehension.

A local couple were arrested this morning after a slew of charges after a traffic stop on I-93 in Concord turned into a foot pursuit around the city’s east side.

Brandon W. Holler, 34, of Pembroke, was arrested on Oct. 31, 2015, and charged with disobeying an officer and resisting arrest along with warrants out of Merrimack County for probation violation, receiving stolen property, and forgery. Also arrested was Kaileah M. Tolken, 23, of Concord, who was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and hindering apprehension.

According to a press alert from the New Hampshire State Police, a trooper stopped a vehicle on I-93 in Concord at just after 11 a.m. and found out that the driver, Holler, had active warrants. Before the trooper could arrest him, Holler allegedly exited the vehicle and fled the area on foot toward Stickney Avenue.

“A foot pursuit ensued with responding troopers and a perimeter was set up with the assistance of the Concord Police Department,” according to Sgt. Mo Sampson of the NHSP. “Shortly after the male suspect fled, a female passenger moved into the driver’s seat and left the area.”

Troopers searched the area while a K-9 unit was called in.

The woman, Tolken, was found near the bus station and was allegedly texting Holler. Troopers requested that he turn himself in and after several minutes, he emerged and was taken into custody.

Holler was held on the county warrants. Both Holler and Tolken are due in court on Dec. 11 to face arraignment on today’s charges, according to state police.

According to online reports, Holler has an extensive criminal history, including arrests for forgery and stolen property in 2013, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, and receiving stolen property in Rockingham County after allegedly stealing a DVD player in Salem.
