Pair Passed Out In Vehicle, Wake Up, And Flee Cops: Report
Luke Rumley of Gilford was arrested for resisting and Alacia Linville of Northfield on a warrant after a drug incident at Home Depot.
HOOKSETT, NH — Two New Hampshire residents with active warrants were arrested last week after reportedly attempting to elude police. Luke Rumley, 41, of Gilford, was arrested on April 12, 2019, for resisting detention or arrest and placed on a 72-hour hold by probation and parole. Alacia Linville, 24, of Northfield, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant out of Franklin District Court. At around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, officers were called to the Home Depot on Quality Drive for a report of a man and woman passed out in a vehicle.
Before arriving, police were told that CPR was in progress but when they were revived and found out that emergency vehicles were responding to the scene, they left in the vehicle.
The vehicle was located later on West River Road near Hackett Hill and stopped. A sergeant and officer arrived as backup to assist at the scene.

The woman – later identified as Linville – allegedly gave officers a false name. After her real identity was confirmed, the warrant was discovered.
“While speaking with both Rumley and Linville, drug paraphernalia was seen in plain view and it was determined that a search warrant would be requested for the vehicle,” noted Sgt. Mike Zappala of the Hooksett Police Department. “While speaking with Rumley, he became extremely agitated and began to ignore officer’s orders.”

Rumley allegedly lunged for an item on his vehicle after being instructed to stay where he was and reportedly began to struggle with officers.
After he reportedly continued to disregard orders, he was taken to the ground and cuffed, Zappala stated.
Both Rumley and Linville were arrested. Linville was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in Franklin District Court on June 3. Rumley is due in Hooksett District Court on May 16.
Back in 2015, when he lived in Concord, Rumley was arrested on forgery, theft, and credit card fraud charges based on incidents on Franklin Street in 2014, according to a report on Patch.
