The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The economy is the most pressing issue. Because of so much interference by government over the years, (mostly federal,) we have seen high inflation, high prices, and souring electric rates. People are unable to make ends meet. The downturn in the economy has created many of the problems we are now facing. I intend to uphold the New Hampshire Advantage of no sales or income tax, no new taxes, and to limit government spending to a minimum.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The other candidate believes that big government is the answer to all problems, whereas I see that government has created many of the problems. I believe that the money a wage earner makes belongs to them; NOT to the government. People should be free to make their own educational choices for their children, their own medical choices, and their own financial decisions. My opponent wishes to increase government rules and regulations, which would have an adverse effect, especially on small businesses. I intend to work to eliminate taxes, fees and burdensome regulations, and to hold the government to its constitutional authority.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform:

I am a strong supporter of our natural rights; especially those under the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments. I intend to empower individuals; not big government. I have the courage and determination to stand up for freedom, and will work to stop the continued encroachment of predatory government into our lives.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this position?

I hold a Master's degree in the Foundations of American Government and have also studied the New Hampshire Constitution. I have worked on many campaigns since I was in high school. I have testified for and against various bills at the State House over the years, and have seen how government works and does not work. Knowing the powers granted to government, and knowing which powers have not been granted, is the most important quality a candidate can have when choosing a government official to represent you.

The best advice ever shared with me was…

From my dad; stand on your own two feet, and fight your own battles.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Voters have a clear choice this election cycle between my opponent, who maintains the status quo of expanding government, or someone who will hold government to its intended duty of protecting life, liberty, and property. Remember that when liberty prevails, everyone benefits. I would appreciate your vote on November 5th. Thank you.
