Parking Bans, Trash Delays, Other Cancellations in Concord
The city of Concord, other organizations are beginning to issue storm notices.

While the snow hasn’t fallen yet, the city of Concord has already begun issuing alert and cancellation notices in preparation of between 18 to 24 inches of snow expected to hit the city.
First, a winter storm parking ban has been issued running from midnight tonight (Monday, Jan. 26, 2015) through 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27. Towing will take place after midnight if you don’t remove your vehicle from the street. Vehicles will also receive a $100 ticket. If the storm is as big as forecasters are predicting, expect future parking bans, so General Services teams clean off the streets and sidewalks.
The city has also issued an alert about curbside trash and recycling collection, due to the upcoming storm. The week’s schedule has been postponed by a day for the rest of the week, through Saturday. This means that if you normally put your trash and recycling out on Tuesday, it will be picked up on Wednesday instead; Wednesday’s pick up will occur on Thursday, etc.
