Pelham Woman Arrested On Aggravated DUI Charge On I-93

CONCORD, NH — A woman from Pelham is due in Laconia District Court next month after being arrested on a drunken-driving charge on Saturday.

Around 3 a.m., a New Hampshire Department of Transportation employee came across a vehicle that crashed into some trees on Interstate 93 north near Exit 23 in New Hampton, according to Sgt. Daniel Livingstone of Troop D. The DOT employee assisted the driver and called for medical assistance.

A state trooper arrived and after an investigation, arrested the driver, Sabrina K. Tierney, 22, of Pelham, on an aggravated DUI and open container of alcohol charges. She is due in court on Feb. 10.
