Police Lockdown Reported In Hooksett
Update: The lockdown in and around Dundee Avenue has been lifted after police were sent to an incident inside of a home.
HOOKSETT, NH — Police in Hooksett implemented a lockdown on Dundee Avenue on Sept. 6, 2017, according to alerts. The lockdown was listed at just after 4:15 p.m. Residents in and around the area were asked to take shelter on Dundee Avenue, Granite Street, Highland Avenue, and Chase Street, according to police. Rockingham Alert reported on Facebook that they believe the closures were probably being implemented for officer safety.
Hooksett Police reported that a single person was barricaded inside of a home and there are no hostages. Manchester SWAT team members are on the way to the scene. At 2:05 p.m., police completely closed Merrimack Street at Dundee Avenue and Merrimack Street at Granite until further notice.

WMUR-TV reported on Twitter that officers were seen holding rifles in the direction of the home.
