Police Seek Info About Stolen Vehicle, Bank Bag with Cash
Concord Crimeline alert: White man with beard, long hair, may have stolen this SUV from Manchester. Do you know him?
Police in Dunbarton recovered a stolen SUV earlier today on Twist Hill Road, according to a press statement.
At around 5:15 p.m. on April 22, 2015, an officer saw the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban parked around power lines near an area of town where people often hunt and hike.
At the time, no one was with the vehicle. The officer checked the registration and found that it was stolen from Manchester on April 19. Bow Police were called in to assist and both departments searched the area on foot for suspects but didn’t find anyone.

In the SUV, police “discovered that a significant amount of cash that was stored in a bank bag was stolen from the vehicle,” according to Sgt. Chris Remillard of the Dunbarton Police Department. The money was raised during a recent fundraiser. The vehicle was towed and returned to its owner.
Remillard said a possible suspect was described as being white, male, with a beard and long hair.
