Project Veritas Action: We Never Heard from Investigators
NH AG subpoenaed video of poll workers reportedly encouraging out-of-state voting, Sanders campaign workers, and then, nothing happened.

CONCORD, NH — While the issue of voter fraud in New Hampshire has once again hit center stage by comments offered by President Donald Trump and his staffers, Project Veritas Action, the org that has been in the state a number of times recording undercover video is wondering what ever happened to the investigation of its footage after video was subpoenaed from the organization.
Back in February 2016, Project Veritas Action released three video compilations of alleged illegal voting activity, including Bernie Sanders campaign staffers allegedly encouraging voter fraud and admitting to voter fraud by registering to vote from a campaign office as well as campaign poll workers allegedly encouraging voter fraud, completely misinterpreting the state’s same-day voter registration law, and giving varying information to same-day voters.
At the time, Stephen Lebonte, the point person in charge of investigating election fraud in 2016 for the NH AG’s Office, stated that investigators would be looking at the “wrongful voting” statute which, if found guilty, carries a felony conviction and $5,000 fine.

The NH AG’s Office subpoenaed the video footage after James O’Keefe came to New Hampshire for a press conference. After the event, he handed over raw video to the-Gov. Maggie Hassan’s office. NH AG Investigator Richard Tracy later issued paperwork to O’Keefe.

A year later, nothing seems to have come of any of the video or the purported violations recorded by the journalists.
Steven Gordon of Project Veritas Action said despite being nearly a year, the org never heard from a single investigator.
“We have never heard from the state of NH about pursuing any charges,” he said in an email.
Brian Buonamano, an assistant attorney general with the NH AG’s Office and the point person on investigating elections, said last week that he did not know the status of the investigation into Sanders' staffers.
Project Veritas Action investigators recorded poll workers in Hanover, Manchester, Nashua, Newmarket, and Portsmouth offering varying – and differing – legal information to voters about what identification they needed, how long they had to live and/or stay in the state in the state to vote, as well as other abnormalities during the Feb. 9, 2016, the New Hampshire presidential primary.
In another section of the 13-minute video, Bernie Sanders for president staffers were reportedly recorded encouraging undercover journalists – acting as Sanders volunteers – to illegally vote by using the campaign office in Manchester as an address as a domicile addresses to register to vote even though they didn’t actual reside or have a domicile in New Hampshire.
