Loudon Police Chase Ends In Concord On Route 106 Crash, Arrest

A driver was taken into custody after reportedly crashing into multiple vehicles on Sheep Davis Road.

CONCORD, NH — Parts of Route 106 were shut down on Thursday after a driver struck at least two vehicles while reportedly fleeing from police in Loudon. The chase started just before 12:30 p.m. as police in Loudon and Merrimack County Sheriffs pursued a driver who refused to stop. According to scanner chatter, the call was initially for a possible driving under the influence suspect; dispatch speculated that the vehicle may have been stolen.

Loudon ended its pursuit at the town line and police in Concord were sent to the area to find the vehicle. It continued to drive along Sheep Davis Road, refusing to stop.

Before the entrance of the Walmart on Route 106, the driver struck a BMW, sport utility vehicle, and other vehicles, and continued to drive toward the Steeplegate Mall. Just before the mall entrance, the driver stopped and attempted to flee the scene.

In the area of the trampoline park, the suspect was taken into custody.
