Parolee Faces Charges After Loudon To Concord Pursuit, Crashes
Michael Carpenter-Noucas is accused of stealing a Honda Accord, driving it while intoxicated, crashing into multiple vehicles on Route 106.

CONCORD, NH — A local man is facing numerous charges after a pursuit through two communities in a stolen car, according to Concord police. Michael Carpenter-Noucas, 35, of Meredith, was arrested on June 6, 2019, and charged with five counts of conduct after an accident as well as reckless operation, driving while intoxicated, felony receiving stolen property, and public urination or defecation. At around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, officers were notified by Loudon police that they were in pursuit of a gray Honda Accord on Route 106 in Loudon.
The pursuit started in the area of Route 129 for speed and a possibly impaired driver, according to Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigations division of the Concord Police Department. Cops also learned that the vehicle was reported stolen.

Loudon ended its pursuit and no Concord units were in the area or involved at that time. The vehicle continued to drive recklessly, according to Ford, along Route 106.
“The Honda struck two utility trucks, two cars, and a dump truck before crashing into the guardrail along Route 106 in the area of Walmart,” he said. “Carpenter-Noucas left the scene but was arrested a short distance from the crash by responding Concord police officers.”

During the arrest, he attempted to give the false name of "Michael Nice" to one of the officers, according to scanner chatter. Damage to the vehicles was minimal and no one was injured, Ford added. Carpenter-Noucas was booked and processed. During this time, Ford alleged, he defecated in one of the booking cells.

According to Fosters.com, Carpenter-Noucas was charged with burglary with intent to commit robbery back in 2010 in an incident in Meredith that involved a person that was fatally stabbed. He was arrested in Gilford in January on a receiving stolen property charge, according to the Laconia Daily Sun. Carpenter-Noucas was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Deerfield in November 2005, according to ForumHome.org.
