R.A.D. Basic Physical Self Defense Classes Added

Concord Police will be holding the training for women in April, May.

The Concord Police Department has added new R.A.D. System of self-defense classes for April and May, according to a press statement.

The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, using “realistic self-defense tactics and techniques.”

The course includes lecture, discussion, and self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities. This is a 12-hour course broken up over four days and taught by nationally certified R.A.D. Instructors. Each student will be given a workbook/reference manual which will outline the entire Physical Defense Program for reference and continuous personal growth. R.A.D. has a free lifetime return and practice policy for all R.A.D. graduates.
