Reminder: No On-Street Parking Tonight in Concord

Move your vehicle tonight or get towed, fined.

While there isn’t a lot of snow on the ground now, the storm has just started. The city of Concord has also just sent out a reminder that there is a winter storm parking ban running again tonight, from midnight (Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015) through 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28.

Towing will take place after midnight if you don’t remove your vehicle from the street. Vehicles will also receive a $100 ticket. If the storm is as big as forecasters are predicting, expect future parking bans, so General Services teams clean off the streets and sidewalks.

It’s a safe bet that on Wednesday or Thursday, the city will call for a Downtown Concord parking ban, to clear sidewalks and streets. Patch will let you know if and when those alerts are issued.
