The People have Spoken!

Believing people are worn our politically-speaking, I’ll make this brief.

Incumbent Representatives, Deborah Aylward, Louise Andrus and Alvin See retain their House seats, along with Dan Innis, his Senate seat. Republicans will retain their Majority in the House, with an additional 22 seats. According to Speaker Packard, this is the first time in 20 years that a party has maintained a majority for three consecutive terms.

And now, the work begins! Republicans will fight to make life more affordable, keep families safe, assure laws are fair, reasonable and just.

Please, please accept my sincere gratitude for sending me back to the State House. I want to thank the many volunteers who assisted me with my win, from helping to place and remove campaign signs; hosting, or holding signs at the polling places; manning event booths; providing moral support — and more!

Speaker’s Race

On November 13th, there will be a Speaker’s Caucus to elect the Speaker of the House. Current Speaker, Sherman Packard will run against the Honorable Len Turcotte in this race. I had the pleasure of serving under Rep. Turcotte as Chairman of the Municipal and County Government Committee, and believe he is competent to hold this position. Turcotte’s goals are to reestablish trust and integrity within the GOP House Caucus; cultivate unity and collaboration, and decide priorities using a bottom-up approach rather than top-down.
