Rhode Island Man Arrested by NH State Police
Sumeet Singh charged with receiving stolen property, title fraud.

New Hampshire State Police have arrested a Rhode Island man in Concord today after he was allegedly using a virtual office to register and title vehicles, and at least one of those vehicles was reportedly stolen.
Sumeet Singh, 36, of Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested at around 1:40 p.m. on Nov. 14, and charged with receiving stolen property and title fraud.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, a trooper received a complaint about from the Department of Motor Vehicles that Singh might be using a virtual office in Nashua in order to register and title vehicles for a business called Hassle Free Rentals LLC.

“The investigation revealed discrepancies with a title for one of the numerous automobiles that Hassle Free Rental had registered,” according to Detective Sgt. Andrew Player.
Troopers met with Singh in Concord in order to inspect the vehicle, a 2013 Toyota Corolla. During the inspection, troopers alleged that they found out it was actually a stolen vehicle and they arrested Singh.

Singh was held on $7,500 cash bail on the title fraud charge and will be arraigned in Nashua District Court. He also has a court date at Concord District Court on Jan. 7, 2015, to answer to the receiving stolen property charge.
