Rotary Speech Contest Results Announced

Rotary Four Way Test was held last week in Concord. Winner Brooke Solomon heading to semi-finals in Henniker next month.

Students in grades 9 through 12, according to a press statement, were encouraged to participate in The Rotary Club of Concord’s Four Way Test Speech Contest by preparing and personally presenting a five to seven minute speech that clearly applied all four points of the Rotary Four Way Test to a significant personal situation or experience, or a public issue or event.

The contest took place on March 25, at the Pleasant View Retirement Community Theater in Concord.

The winner, Brooke Solomon will be participating in the semi-finals in Henniker on April 19. Finals will be held in Portland Maine on May 30.
