Serious Injuries Reported After Interstate 93 Crash In Concord
Watch: EMTs alerted the Concord Hospital trauma unit after one person was ejected from a motor vehicle after an accident at Exit 17.
CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters, Penacook Rescue, and New Hampshire State Police were sent to a single-vehicle accident Saturday near Exit 17 on the southbound side of Interstate 93 Saturday. Two people were reported injured to dispatch around 6 p.m. It took the first firefighters about 10 minutes to get to the crash scene after being unable to find it.
When they did find it, they had to drive north and circle back around because they were on the wrong side of the highway.
The first responding EMTs found a vehicle on its roof, one patient, who was initially entrapped out of the vehicle and another patient ejected from the vehicle, according to dispatch. A second ambulance was called to the scene later.
