Snowstorm To Shift North: 4 To 6 Inches Expected Sunday Night Into Monday: Follow-Up
National Weather Service forecasters warn that as much as half a foot of snow will fall in central and southern New Hampshire.

CONCORD, NH — While some forecasters were a little shy about calling for snow this weekend, they shifted course a bit on Friday afternoon.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service issued a “hazardous weather outlook” alert, warning of cold temperatures and accumulating snow, especially on the Seacoast and interior.
“Low pressure will bring snow to the region Sunday night into Monday morning,” the alert stated. “There is still uncertainty as to how much snow will fall.”

Scattered showers are expected Saturday afternoon and evening. The sun will reappear on Sunday morning and afternoon. Then, sometime between 1 and 3 p.m., the snow is expected to start and run through Monday afternoon.
Forecasters expect 4 to 6 inches of snow in most Patch communities, with a 90 percent chance of at least 1 inch and a 10 percent chance of 9 to 11 inches.

At least 3 to 5 inches are predicted for Concord and the capital region and 3 to 7 inches in Nashua, Hillsborough County, inland Rockingham County, and the Seacoast.
Forecasters said a much colder air mass will move into the region early next week through midweek.
“This will likely feature high temperatures in the single digits and teens above zero, with overnight lows below zero,” the alert said. “Resulting (in) feels like temperatures in the teens to 20s below zero at times when these values are combined with wind.”
For Granite Staters traveling south on Sunday and Monday, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island expect snow, too.
