Spireside Coffeehouse and Open Mic

Spireside Coffeehouse and Open Mic to feature Kangaralien on Saturday, Aug 15th. Kangaralien is a really stupid name for a band. I mean, uhh . . . *ahem*… Kangaralien is a Boston-based acoustic guitar duo. Since their formation in 2004, they have released four full-length albums, played at over 100 venues, and printed up some seriously snazzy stickers. Their music has its roots in progressive rock, jazz, classical, and bluegrass. If you listen close enough, you may even hear the faint smells of a kangaroo thinking of a spaceship. The Spireside is held in the Dunbarton Church Vestry at 6 Stark Highway North. Open Mic signups begin at 7:00 PM welcoming musicians, poets and storytellers.
