HOOKSETT, NH — New Hampshire State Police in Hooksett arrested three people Monday and arrested them after reportedly catching them in the act of stealing a part from a vehicle. At just before 5 p.m., a state trooper was on a routine patrol of the state park and ride located on Hackett Hill Road off Exit 11 on Interstate 93. While driving through the park and ride, "he came upon the three subjects in the act of cutting a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the facility," according to Staff Sgt. William Graham of Troop D.

After questioning the three people — Charles McWilliams, 51, of Northfield, Tyler Akins-McWilliams, 22, of Bradford, and Melody Bagley, 19, of Bradford — they were arrested on felony charges of conspiracy, attempt to commit criminal mischief, and theft. All three were released on bail and are due in Merrimack County Superior Court on Jan. 30.

"All three are also suspects in investigations into similar incidents in several nearby towns of Merrimack County," Graham said.
