About 1960 David Hatch Senior started taking care of the Veterans Park at Blodgett Street, hosting a Flag pole, Granite Memorial, and cannon. Since then, family members have carried on the tradition, and in the last couple of years have graciously invited me to help.
On February 12, 2024, a brand new 5‘ x 8‘ American flag was hoisted up the flagpole. Sometime within the past two weeks, the rope has been cut, and the flag has been unclipped from the lanyards and stolen.
This memorial is a dedication to all Veterans, and the park has been known as Concord Heights Veterans Memorial.

A reward is available for the return of the flag, and any information on who has disgraced the American Veterans by such a theft is available.
