Strangulation, Domestic Violence Parolee Wanted On Probation Violation

Anthony Haislip was previously featured 20 months ago. He has connections to Polk County, FL. DOC says Haislip has "violent tendencies."

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is again asking for the public’s help finding a parolee accused of a probation violation.

Anthony Dale Haislip is white, 45, about 6 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs around 260 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair. Haislip has several tattoos, including a Chevrolet symbol on his right forearm, an owl on his left arm, a compass on his left hand, and on his chest, portraits as well as the names “Rebecca” and “Delilah.”

The Belknap County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest.

Haislip was convicted on second-degree assault, domestic violence-strangulation, and stalking charges, causing “serious bodily injury” to the victim, the corrections department said. And then, he was released on probation and was not heard from again.

“The fugitive should be considered dangerous as he has violent tendencies,” an alert stated.

Haislip has “extensive ties” to Polk County, Florida, but was last known to be residing in New Hampton.

Anyone with information about Haislip should call local police, Belknap County Sheriff’s Department at 603-527-5454, or corrections at 603-271-1804.

According to superior court records, Haislip was also accused of witness tampering, criminal threatening, violation of a protective order, and breach of bail charges in May 2022 after an incident in Belmont. Four months later, he pleaded guilty to two charges while the threat and breach charges were nolle prossed.

In May 2022, New Hampshire State Police arrested him on stalking-domestic violence and disobeying an officer charges in Exeter.

In October 2022, Concord police arrested Haislip on a warrant after an incident at Shaw’s supermarket on Fort Eddy Road.
