Police: Colton Squeglia grabbed, harassed, and tried to kiss girl at Concord High School.
A local teen is in trouble with the law again after allegedly grabbing his ex-girlfriend during school hours at Concord High.
Colton James Squeglia, 17, of Concord, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. on April 28, on a simple assault charge.
According to an arrest report, the assistant principal at the school reached out to the school resource officer about an incident involving a 14-year-old girl who alleged that Squeglia had assaulted her.

The officer spoke with the girl who stated that she had been dating Squeglia about a month but broke it off the week before, during school vacation. At around 10 a.m. on that day, he allegedly stopped her in the hallway and began arguing with her about them breaking up. She alleged that he wouldn’t let her go to class but finally, she was able to break away.
About an hour and a half later, during her lunch break, she was standing outside the courtyard and Squeglia allegedly approached her again and started arguing with her. He allegedly “grabbed her by both of her arms in the area of her elbows and pulled her towards him,” the report alleged. “She said he pulled her towards him, leaned in, and attempted to kiss her.”

The girl pushed him away and then left the area, according to the officer. A couple of times, Squeglia allegedly called her and was trying to joke with her over the phone. She also identified a potential witness to the assault.
“I noticed she was very upset and appeared very scared,” the officer noted.
The officer then spoke with Squeglia in a conference room who was also “very upset.” The knuckles on his left hand were bloody, according to the officer. When asked about his hand, he allegedly stated that he “punched something.” The officer and Squeglia spoke for a bit and he was arrested.
According to the report, an emergency protection order was put in place and Squeglia is due in court on June 9, to face the charge. He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail.
During the last nine months, Squeglia has been arrested twice, once in October 2013 on a possession of controlled drugs charge and again in March on a criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.) charge against a family member.
