Teen, Juvenile Walk Away from Crash in Hopkinton
NHSP: Unsafe speed on dirt road caused a loss of control of a pickup truck.

A teen and a juvenile were able to walk away from an accident without injuries yesterday after the pickup truck they were in flipped and crashed.
According to New Hampshire State Police, at around 6 p.m. on Aug. 22, 2015, troopers responded to Broad Cove Road in Hopkinton for a report of a Ford Explorer that crashed.
The vehicle was being driven by a 17-year-old boy in a westerly direction on the road when he lost control.

“The vehicle came to a rest on its roof,” according to Sgt. William Graham. “The male, along with a juvenile passenger, had both been wearing seatbelts and were able to crawl from the overturned vehicle.”
Trooper concluded that the driver was traveling at an unsafe speed, according to the report, and came over a rise in the dirt road that caused the loss of control. Neither passenger was injured in the crash, according to Hopkinton Fire and Rescue teams, which were at the scene to assist.
