A Teenager Was Taken To The Hospital After A Crash In East Concord On Oak Hill Road
A driver in an SUV crashed into a pole and then became stuck between rocks. The driver was OK, but a passenger was taken to the hospital.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a crash on Sunday evening on Oak Hill Road, not far from the Loudon town line.
Just before 8 p.m., dispatch received a report about an SUV that had swerved off the road and was now lodged between two large rocks. An officer heading to the scene asked if the driver was injured, and dispatch said the driver was shaken but had no visible injuries.
When the first officer arrived, they requested fire and rescue, due to a person bleeding, although she was “conscious and alert.” More officers were also sent. The officer clarified later the driver was OK, but the passenger had injuries due to glass cuts, and she could not feel her arm.

The driver and passenger were in their teens and their parents came to the scene later. The officer stated the girls could not leave the vehicle due to all the broken glass.
A second officer reported to dispatch a utility pole had been damaged during the crash, and Unitil would need to be called to the scene. The officer said it appeared to have been struck “pretty hard.” There were no wires down, though, they said.
