Power Restored to Thousands in Concord, Capital Region
UPDATE: Unitil says power has been completely restored to the area; Eversource still reporting scattered outages.

Update, 7:52 p.m. Unitil is reporting on Twitter that all of its customers in Concord and the capital region have their power restored.
Update, 4:04 p.m. About 1,000 customers are still without power in Concord, Bow, and Canterbury, according to the Unitil outage map. Most of the outages are in Concord. On Twitter, Unitil reported that power was restored and was caused by a broken tree limb falling on a line.
Update, 3:31 p.m. Unitil is hitting a number of different locations around the city attempting to restore power, according to scanner chatter. Power has been restored in Webster but more than 1,300 customers are without power. The area around Concord Hospital is having problems as well as sections of the northwestern part of the city. Restoration times have been posted to be between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. tonight.

More than 2,400 customers in Concord and the capital region are without power at this hour, according to Unitil.

The cause of the outages is unknown at post time but high winds have been sporadically hitting the region throughout the day. According to scanner chatter, a tree has reportedly fallen near Rum Hill Road knocking down power lines. On Twitter, Unitil stated it was responding to the outage and would have an update soon.
Eversource is also reporting about 1,000 customers without power. Outages have been reported in Allenstown – about 150 customers – as well as 90 in Dunbarton, more than 600 in Hopkinton, 137 in Weare.
Restoration times, at post time, are expected to be sometime between 4 and 6:30 p.m. For Concord and Canterbury, the company is still assessing restoration times.
