Officers spoke to the man who stated that the mother and daughter had been fighting. The officers went into the daughter’s bedroom where they had been fighting and allegedly saw the mother “covered in blood.” The teen was on the bed, crying, holding a large kitchen knife, according to the report. When she saw police, she reportedly dropped the knife.
The teen, later identified as Wilkins, reportedly apologized to police and stated she was upset with her family. Wilkins allegedly stated that she had been out drinking with friends and when she came home, her mother started yelling at her. Later, she alleged, “someone smashed her forehead against the ground” during the fight. The officer reported seeing a fresh lump on her head.

Another officer spoke to the mother who stated that she and the man were asleep when Wilkins came home and started yelling at her sister, waking everyone up. She alleged that Wilkins “slapped several times off the kitchen table” and one of the items struck her in the head, causing her to bleed. Wilkins then reportedly fled the scene but later returned. The mother alleged that after returning, the fighting continued and Wilkins “began smashing her own head against the wall,” grabbed a knife, and went into her bedroom.
Wilkins was arrested and refused bail.
During the last 18 months, Wilkins has been arrested a number of times and charged with breaking into a home in Penacook, possession of alcohol, and driving charges.
