A warrant for Aguilar was issued last summer after he allegedly sold drugs that resulted in the death of Thomas Drake, 22, of Atkinson, in September 2014, according to reports online. He was indicted, according to the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, and featured as the NH Fugitive of the Week in October 2015.
According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, Nicholas Austin of Newton was sentenced to three to 13 years in prison last week for providing the heroin to Drake, his best friend at the time.
“I believe my son died in vain,” said Pamela Drake, Thomas’ mother, at the sentencing. “I absolutely feel there should have been more jail (time).”
