U.S. Marshals Searching For 'Violent Sexual Predator'

CONCORD, NH — The District of New Hampshire - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is attempting to find a convicted child rapist who is wanted on parole violations. Have you seen Edward Henry Coleman III? He is 44, is 5-feet, 6-inches tall, and weighs around 180 lbs. Coleman has blue eyes and brown hair.

Deputy Jeffrey White of the U.S. Marshals Service stated that Coleman has numerous tattoos on his abdomen, right finger, knee, and wrist, on both arms, as well as his neck, back, and chest. He was previously convicted in 2012 of aggravated felonious sexual assault and felonious sexual assault of a child who was 12 at the time. White added a "violent sexual predator" warning to this week's fugitive alert.

"Coleman is believed to be in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire and has family ties to Dover," White stated.

The warrant issued for Coleman's arrest was made on Feb. 26, by the New Hampshire State Board of Parole.

Coleman, according to the Department of Safety, has a long criminal history dating back to the mid-1990s. He has been convicted of theft of services, stalking, twice on possession of a controlled drug charges, habitual offender twice, disobeying a police officer, controlled drug act, violation of terms of probation or parole four times, burglary, receiving stolen property twice, simple assault, theft, and false imprisonment. Coleman was most recently convicted of burglary and duty to inform in November 2018.
